Steering ujoint , aftermarket for 70 Dart ps

Put on Dougs D453 headers today 70 Dart, 360 magnum power steering. Very tight fit.
Ps box to tube clearance is not Good. I will have to washer the engine mounts up to gain more clearance to put a high heat insulating blanket on the box. The steering coupler also has minimal clearance. I am thinking that a flaming river u joint will work. Does. the joint have to be welded to the shaft ?. is the coupler to the box mopar specific splines?
Can you recommend a specific product ?
Any info will be helpful.

Borgeson has a selection of u joints with the Mopar spline (5/8-36 I believe), with differing opposite ends depending on your needs.
Make sure you get the one labeled for Chryslers, as the GM 5/8 36 is different and will not fit.

Borgeson is only showing a 3/4 DD-x5/8-36 GM spline, no Chrysler ones ?
