Im about to fill some cracks in the 67 Darts steering wheel. I noticed on other steering wheel restoration pics that the the three uniform “cracks”on the spokes are sometimes filled in and sometimes not. It seems most people fill in the bottom side of the cracks but often leave the top side open. I think they are factory “cracks” as again I’ve seen them in other wheel pics and mine all are uniform shape. Thoughts are appreciated. Pics...

My stock 67 wheel is original and well preserved. Never been touched or restored and has no cracks at all. Just one solid piece. Good luck. brian

Man that is weird, those three spots on mine are so uniform and half moon shaped that I can’t see how they could be stress cracks unless that spot on the spokes is some type of joint where pieces come together. But if neither of you guys have those spots then I’m filling em in!
