I have a pretty wild cammed 340. It was running a FBO ignition but it failed for some reason. I'm waiting on a replacement. In the meantime is it safe to run the stock ignition box just for around 50 miles of street driving over 2 days?

stock ignition will hold up fine IMO, the spark won't be near as hot and the car may not work to its peek performance, but it will get you back on the road

Yea I'm not worried about peak performance at the moment, just being able to drive it down the street.
