Stock original looking alternator vs black one to match pulleys

I cant say to much, I have a all billet aluminium one to go onto mine. Had to go bigger then factory on amps.

No problem, I have 135 amp GM one wire on mine , mounted down where the fuel pump would normally be.

Mines a 200amp. Will be stock location just a little more inward.

If the engine compartment is going to overall look stock then leave natural otherwise do as you will.

I did cast my vote for the stock gray, but the black does look nice. We had a old gent in town worked on alts and starts in the back half of his garage. Dropped off what you wanted fix and then pick it up the following day. He always spray painted the alts with just a wisp of black paint across the top. I guess maybe it was his way to be marked done? So when ever I see a black alternator I think, rebuilt......
