Hello, just finished rebuilding my 73 dart power steering floor shift column, and i was wondering for a driver with some strip time, is it best just to rebuild the stock steering coupler or i've also seen some people using a u-joint. I really dont want to hack up the stock steering shaft if i dont have to, its going to be a 383 bb with schumacher headers.

Thanks
Ryan

well sounds like stock is the way to go, Jim thanks for the link will be picking one up tomorrow!

I have a -73up style power steering on my -71 Duster and it has a little loose spot in the middle, like 10 minutes or so. Steering box was stiff when I installed it but the coupler had worn out. Is it normal that the coupler could cause that 5 to 10 minute loose to the steering? Its quite annoying when you turn the steeringwheel and nothing happens...
