thanks i runnin 225 70 14 and they rub in the center of fender when turning i think a little to talll it only happins when u pulling in some were and it is unevin
 
That 225-70-14 is about 1" taller and wider than a stock tire.


The thing to worry about if you have rubbing in the front is........

If you are backing up and turning when it rubs you run the chance of folding the fender.

This is off my BFGoodrich chart:
215/70-14 25.9" Tall
225/70-14 26.5" Tall
235/60-15 26.1" Tall

Dang, that 225 is a tall tire. I run a 215/70-14 on my 70 Dart, and a 235/60-15 on my 74 Dart.

With the 215/70-14 you will never have to worry about rubbing ever.
With the 235/60-15 I have to gingerly leave a driveway with the wheels turned. Other than that they will not rub.
 
My 72 Scamp came with a 6.95 x 14 tire, which equates to a 185/75r14 tire in today's world.......
