Hey guys,
I need some help finding some new parts. I bought a '78 LeBaron and inherited some valvetrain problems. I need to purchase some Sherman lifters and a new set of OE style shaft mounted adjustable rocker arms in a 1.50 ratio. Does anyone know where I could find Allan Sherman's phone number and who sells these rocker arms? Thank you very much.

I found an old thread with some advice from Physixx on the rocker arms, but am still trying to find Sherman's phone number.

It may have been mentioned in the thread, but any adjustable rocker you get will end up giving less lift than expected. Part of it is the inaccurate ratio and the rest is lost due to lifter/pushrod/rocker geometry. Most people have a cam ground to compensate for the difference. You can also get the rockers corrected at Rocker Arm Specialists.

I wasn't happy with the Sherman lifters and bit the bullet for Shubeck/now Smith lifters.

I was not happy as well with the Sherman lifters in our B/S car, didnt last very long. Swithced to the Smith Machine lifters. I have a new set of those available as well if interested. They ARE much more than the reworked Shermans, but almsot a neccessity IMO.

I also have a set of stock 273 style rocker arms if your interested. I would advise having them re-worked as well. Again, I dont think you'll eb any where near as happy with Shermans as you would with Smith/Shubecks.

Thanks
