Strange Parts?

I found these in the trunk of a 72 Demon. It needs a lot of sheetmetal work in the back end. It looks like they have been cut from another car.
What are these and do I need them?

That's what I thought, but they don't match up with what is on the car in good condition.

Ok, that makes sense as the rear frame rails need replacing and it looks like a rust old rear valance is there too.
