'Street Outlaws' show no longer filming in Romulus

my beef with the show is the claim they have the fastest street cars in the country.lol
I guess thats what they call being OAKY.

That was season 1. The opener was "Fastest street cars in the nation". Then when everyone pointed out that they are not street cars if they're trailered everywhere, the tag line became "fastest street raced cars".

My problem with the show is that they may be fast cars, but at the level, those cars are just boring. Too much electronics and too many 2 speed transmissions.

Because dfwss has a top 10 and We race okc and invite other states.Now because of Discovery channel everyone wants to race to be on tv but before they were pussies!Do not include Houston in our group.Dfwss and okc are 50/50 in our cash days!Also it is street raced cars!Which means they race them on the street!

Seriously, he's good. He will even do private airplane valve jobs for guys when they are in a bind and lives 5 minutes from the airport. He's well known with the cruisers on Telegraph Road.

A lot is staged but the cars are for real!I too admit its crappy but am rooting for the Street Beast!

What might be interesting is that supposedly they are gonna do drag week on the next season. One of their top cars tried a few years back and broke after the first day or so. They might actually have a good show if they have the guts to show their cars breaking and the general struggles to do that event.

But i fear it will be one episode of "hey look, we came and conquered drag week to shut every one up" and not showing results or any of the likely breakdowns.

Maybe even more so now. I do watch the show, and their recent episode showed either the sonoma or the nova with a C02 shifter.

At that point this might as well be a show about nissan GTRs racing. They go fast, but the driver input is fairly minimal.

Nice outlaw 10.5 cars .... lots of money in them but doors and tail lites mite make it a street car but still. driveing something like that on the street is nuts. Even if you ain't being stupid some punk kid in a souped up honda will pull up next to ya at the lite and try and prove what a badass he is. some people will not like the way i feel about it but it is what it is..... street raceing is stupid. We all have lost freinds back in the day and we all have seen the news with a mini van full of kids in flames. Barkin second gear next to your buddy or takein a lap or two in a 800 HP dart cruzin the strip on a friday nite is one thing ....... we always went to the old shut down airstrip past the samoa cookhouse. and ya ... we did have to lookout for cops
