stripe removal

What's the best way to remove body stripes without damaging the paint. I want to put new stripes on my Duster but don't know how to get the old ones of :scratch:

my guess would be a heat gun, adhesive remover (3M) and an erasier wheel. you can get all from any parts store. good luck.

The 3M adhesieve remover is a citrus based product and quite expensive. I "acquired" some from a sign company! But it's best to warm the area concerned, used a razor blade to lift the edge and work slow. Just take your time and you'll be fine
