Folks,

Our car is going to be crazy plum..

We are unsure of what gloss our stripes should be,,,matt, semi, gloss..

I don't think full gloss would look right..

What would the difference between matt and semi be ?

I thought so but my colour consultant (daughter and co owner) wants to make sure.

What would the difference be between the 2 ?

yes factory stripe /tail strip was a decal and was a low gloss finish, but I have seen painted strips where other finishes have been used and they looked very nice

yes the hoods/black, where matt and the back strips where much closer to a semi ...I have been looking at mine for over 30 years
 
OK...semi it is...she doesn't want a flat black engine bonnet either...

When You order the stripe, ask if they use 2mil material.
I see way to many people come in to my shop with junk they thought was a good deal on ebay or other online suppliers to get installed.
I believe 3M is one of the only supplier that have a 2mil semi gloss.
