So I am wonder what would be the best way to go about removing the old paint from my 75' Valiant grill,so that when the time come's to repaint, it will adhere well and not flake off. All suggestions/opinions are appreciated. Here's a picture of the grill as it sits right now.

paint stripper is not going to ruin the chrome what so ever and then with a scuff pad where you will paint should give it enough tooth for the paint

Click on the following link ryansiki. It shows what I did to my '73 Grille.

What effect would the Easy Off have on epoxy? I wasn't thinking and kinda started filling in a couple of small cracks.....](*,)

I don't believe that Easy-Off would have an effect on epoxy. You might want to dab a bit (just spray a puddle onto a pan or something and then use a Q-Tip or modeling paint brush) on a distant area to give it a test, however.

Also, would it still be necessary to use a primer after using the easy off, and maybe roughing it up with some 220-grit or 400-grit sandpaper?
