strut,lower control arm

the bar that goes from the lower control arm to the front that has a busining on it. how does it come out so you can replace the bushings. looks like yo have to take loose the lower control arm so it will swing back far enough to replace the bushing. any know the "easy-er" way of doing this?????
 
ok, here is the answer, i found out the hard way.

you have to drop the lower control arm on a 72 and force it back enough to free the rod to place the bushings on the rod. then reassemble. that all, just 4-6 hours of nuckle busting work. shew. ok now just fyi for anyone else. tks
