how tight do torque down the nut on my strut rod bushings on my 69 dodge dart? just put in new .87in diameter Mopar Performance Torsion Bars P5249149 from summitracing. please help! thanks

There should be a hole in the strut rods for a cotter pin. Tighten the bushing enough to get the pin back in.

According to the factory service manual:

Front strut rod nut (at K-member) should be torqed to 52ft-lbs.

The rear nut (at lower control arm) should be torqued to 105 ft-lbs.

If you are using MP performance poly strut rod bushings, they are thicker than stock (the bushing too) and you will never get them down to the cotter pin hole. In this case, just torque them to spec and drill a new hole. Ask me how I know  LOL.
