I'm near certain, but this caught me off-guard. I ordered a used strut rod for my 73 Dart and I think the one sent was from a 74. The deal is I have a few around and there's a difference: front threads (facing front of car are coarse or fine, the fine threaded ones are 1/4" longer, length overall is the same, but 1/4" longer from the "girdles" or ribs on the bars that stop when inserted in place. Obviously this could make a big difference. I'm 99% sure mine are the coarse threaded ones, and I know my 67 was coarse. What does the fine threaded, longer one fit ?
