So I'm rebuilding the suspension on my 68 dart. It's all apart, new lca bushings in and new Qa1 uppers ready to go. I was reading the install advice on here and realized I forgot to check to strut rod bushings. They are indeed bad. Right now the rods are disconnected from the lca but connected on the other side. I see a nut with a roll pin a bit ahead of the nut. I tried to hold the rod while removing the nut and it's not budging. I'm fearful I should have loosened it while still connected to the lca but looking for any advice on how to disassemble to replace the strut bushings. Thanks

On top of what oldmanmopar said, some penetrating oil can't hurt.

IIRC the nut is a self locking type so that will increase the force needed to remove it.

Old man Mopar is my guardian angel this week. Worked Ike a champ and yes the nut was not easy to take off. Thanks again for all the help
