Anyone ever use a 73+ strut rod on a 72 and earlier K member. The rods are a little different on the K member end but the same on the lower control arm end. The difference on the K member end is the length from where it necks down out to the end of the threads is a little longer on the 73+, which is what I think chrysler did to use the bigger bushings. The 72 and back have a small bushing. The reason I ask is because I went to put on my energy suspension strut rod bushings polyurethane and they are too thick. The part numbers say they are correct for my car, 67-76. But if you go to the rubber bushings they list different part numbers for 67-72 to 73-76. What you think???

Anyone ever used polyurethane strut rod bushings on their 67-72 A body? One thing I have noticed is there is a metal sleeve in the bushings like the 73+ cars. Some things are starting to make sense about what I need to do but I still need input. Energy suspension website says they don't have a tech department.
