Stupid question

Where on the block do I install a mechanical oil pressure line? I am sure it's one of the holes in the back on the block near the transmission, but want to be sure.

Yes, either one will work!

Theres 1 little hole next to the distibutor on top of the block. This is the hole you will use to plum oil guages.
(P.S., thats not a stupid question)

Rumblefish I belive, he's running a big block, You are right for the small block though! Both ports at the back of the big block are pressure ports!
