Super Six Kick Down

[65 Dartman]

I'm in the process of buying a 65 Dart with a later Super Six motor and original 65 904. This issue is there's no kick down linkage. Would it be better to source an original rod linkage or go with the cable type. If the cable type, Lokar or Bouchillon?

It's your preference. The Lokar cables can be bought whenever you want. The original type is a lot harder to find. I'd go with the original one because I think it looks better and will be a little cheaper. Just takes some patience to find.

Lokar style can be had for 40 bucks, google it. Can be made for less than 10...
