We will change the rear springs and are thinking about the SS but are not sure if 002/003 are the correct ones for our Valiant -65.

The weight of the car is appr. 3200lbs so they should be ok
Have any of you used them on an early a-body?
Are you happy with the ride and traction?

They are the right ones. I have not had them on an early A, but did have them on my 383 Scamp. The back end of the car did go up about 2 inch's over the old stock ones and the back of the car did sit a bit crocked as one leaf is biult beefer than the other. But they do work great!

I have them on my 66 dart, they ride stiffer than stock for sure and they raise the rear up but settled down nicely. They work well on the launch.

Thanks for your comments "they work well on the launch" and "... they do work great" was what I was looking for.
We will stick to our goal: "just go, no show".
If the car sits a bit crocked doesn't matter as long as you know the reason...
:burnout:

If it don't run, chrome it :toothy7:

I've got a set from mancini racing, what we did was adjust the shackle bar on one side to even things out a bit. Is this bad?
