Well it's time for the annual Superbowl pig-out so let's hear your favorite recipe for the event. I'll start............

Wings, done many ways but here's my favorite.

Get the wings out and while the oil is heating up to 365 or 375 cut them up. In a sauce pan slowly melt 1 stick of butter. Do not boil it, it will separate and you don't want that, just warm enough to liquefy. Add 2 TBS of vineger (that's what gives the "bite") and as much Frank's Hot Sauce as you want to get it to your own taste level. I've tried many hot sauces but I always come back to Frank's.
Cook the wings in hot oil (no seasonings or breading) till done. I then dump them out onto newspaper (covered with a layer of paper towels) and let them drain a bit. Then toss them in warm sauce.
There you go, you know the routine, serve them up with celery and blue cheeze or ranch dressing.

This recipe was introduced to me by Mario Andretti's neice who I was hanging with back in 1988. Thanks "Pooch", still think of you every time I make them.

That's my contribution, now let's hear yours.
Jim
