Sure Grip?

How can I tell a sure grip with diff. out of the car?

I'm assuming you're looking at a 8 3/4 center chunks

they either look like this:

or like this

The type on the bottom is more desirable.

Jbar here's a couple links to tech articles that shows pics of all three types of carriers used. The first link is an exploded view showing an open differential. 2nd page link shows both types of sure grips Chrysler used.
