Suregrip Marks????

I pulled my pumpkin out a while back and have been meaning to post this. After I pulled the pumpkin I saw marks on the locker. There weren't any shavings in the fluid or anywhere on the third member. The gears look good and there are no signs of wear on anything. I didn't set the gears on this and were there when I bought the Dart. The only thing I could think of was maybe the previous owner wiped out a set of gears? Anyone know what would cause this?

Looks like they snapped the bolts and the ring gear came over from the looks of it.

The pinion gear broke or the pinion nut came loose, causing the pinion gear to fall back into the case and rub the sure grip housing. This is nothing to worry about, actually is pretty common. I have one like this too! Keith.

Pinion came loose it looks like. Not all the way to lock it up I would believe just grind it down a little.
