swap for a 727?

I have a 68 Barracuda with a 4 speed I want to change to an auto. I want to know if I can use any 727 I find even if its out of a 4x2 van? Any help would be great. Thank you.

..................U sure can as long as it has the long tailshaft and is 4 ur engine family...........if ur going to use the factory consol and shifter u will need the tailhousing with 2 mounting holes right behind the speedo......trucks and vans do not usually have the mounting holes.....kim........
