What are they worth?

Are they worth porting and refreshing, or sell/ trade for something more modern

they have been wrapped up for over 22 years.
not sure about the cam condition, haven't looked closely at it yet
lifters are marked for location ( says front on one end)

I'm thinking of porting them and added a modern roller cam set-up/new push rods, as required for the stroker build.

not sure I would touch them. for someone doing a numbers resto could be worth some money. Buy the time you got finished with them you could have likely bought a set of edelbrocks anyway. my .02

sell them to someone doing a restoration on a ta challenger or aarcuda...

they are nothing but a J head with offset rockers...the ports do not flow any better then a j head......

sell them and use the money to buy better performance heads

Somewhat better valve train geometry , but these guys are right.
Sell them for good coin and buy something that wasn't hacked out of granite at Flintstone foundries.
They are great heads for 1971 , but there are much better options available and nobody is offering their first born to get them.
Someone doing a resto needs these a lot more than most of us do.

for someone restoring a '70 T/A chally or AAR cuda they are probably worth their weight in gold lol

for someone investing in a new engine for racing or driving around they are not an optimal choice
