t5 trans swap?

Im seriously considering swaping in a t5 trans into my 360 dart for street/road racing track day use.Why a t5?Manual overdrive on a budget.Does anyone have info/documentation on performing this swap?Is there a post that covers this subject?Any help would be great.

My buddy bolted one in behind his AMC 304.Forget what the car was called but he said it was a very straightforward swap.The bolt pattern for the bellhousings was the same I think.

Dont remember much else about it.
