Was looking thru some pictures I took at the local track last year and got to wundaring....see lots of Super Pro cars with tachs up on the dash etc. Why? They leave on a rev limiter/delay box....and damn near all of them have some sort of automated shifter in the car....sure there is a reason.....not trying to be a smart a** here.....so to anyone who races Super Pro & sees this please do not take offense....

maybe for the playback feature after the race is over ?? not sure just a guess.

Maybe the tach is to let them know if the rev limiter and other parts are doing their jobs.
