tachometer color code

Like a dummy i lost the paper work for a cheap no name tachometer and its time to hook it up. any one know the code. I have red+ black- yellow? green?. any help would be appreaciated.

Mine is a Sunpro mini.

red = 12v
black = ground
yellow = 12v instrument light
green = ignition coil negative post
