I have a 70 dart. some of the light sockets need replacing I believe. I looked and could not find any info on doing this. I assume I just remove the borken/froze up socket and replace with the new socket is this correct?
Thanks!!

When I rewired my car I was unable to find the rear sockets. I did however find the pins to remake the sockets using better wire. Ron Francis wiring has the pins in order to do this.

When i was redoing the tail lights on my '72 Bbody I found the sockets I purchased to replace the factory ones were just a tiny bit different and would not fit (too loose). The back-up lights did fit, the others did not. Did my best to clean the rust out of the old sockets. Almost destroyed my factory sockets trying to remove them at first. Proceed carefully because you might find that what appears to fit/work really does not.

Is there a way to test the lights if out of the car? Car is at the paint shop. Also how did you remove sockets to replace pins?
