Tail shaft bushing 904

Can the tail shaft bushing be removed with out removing the tail shaft housing ? Thanks for the help

Yes, with the right tool. When I worked in the industry, Atec-Trans Tool had the proper tool for removing the bushing without taking the extension housing off. It was used for removing other bushings too. Most builders I knew, either had the tool, or had something else they made up or preferred. Without the proper bushing driver though, it might be difficult to install a new bushing straight.
