Tailpipe Interchangeability Question

I was cleaning out my basement & found a tailpipe that I've had for over 30 years. I purchased it new from a local auto parts store for a 1968 Plymouth Barracuda with a slant six I no longer have. I assume that it would interchange with any other A-Body that year with a slant six but I wanted to post that question here to double check before I offer it up for sale. Here is a couple of photos, one with the part number from the store.

I believe 67 to about 72 A body. Not sure after 73 when cats came to play.
Before 66 (maybe) not too sure,the pipe was on the passenger side . But I have been wrong before..

That's what I was thinking, more than just the one body type. Thanks.

I held onto it in case I ended up with another slant six car but everything I have now is a V8. The one A-Body I still have is also a V8 & when I replace the dual exhaust it'll be a larger diameter pipe anyway.

Cats didn’t come out until 1975 so no changes in 73 and 74 relative to 72 and earlier. Even in 1975 cats were not put on all Chryslers. Floorpan changed in 1975 under the drivers side front seat.

That I was definitely aware of because I once tried to use a pair of bucket seats from a 1973 Duster in a 1976 Dart Sport & the seat tracks were way off. Ended up swapping the tracks & all was well.

T4-2142 is a Maremont number for the tailpipe for 1967-1969 Barracuda and 1967-1971 Dart (including Demon) and Valiant (including Duster and Scamp) with six cylinder. Chrysler part number for this tailpipe is 3404300. The pipe changed when the size increased in 1972 from 1-3/4" to 1-7/8" (same as 318). 1973-1976 A-bodies also included the optional noise reduction package with resonator in addition to the non resonator tailpipe. The non resonator tailpipe configuration changed again in 1974-1976. 1960-1966 was a different tailpipe.
