I am needing one of these 90* boots that snap over the temp sending sensor on a 440. The hole connector needs

to fit a .187 or 3/16" stud. Need enough wire on it to splice the wire.

If you are just looking for the 90*boot, I just bought 3 of them from Rock Auto. Just look up you car, and look under elec stuff. They came with a 6in wire that you can solder to you old wire. Worked for me.

Did you buy the boots that went on the temp sending unit on a 440.

I just checked the ones on my cars (4) and they are all the same size, on the connector (90* boot) and the measure at .180 in. they are a resistance fit. As far as i know the connectors are all the same size terminal. mine came with about 9 in of wire. You can probably get one from the help section of any auto parts store.

I looked at Rock auto it it didn't come up with anything. I searched for a 1976 440 engine from a Chrysler New Yorker. I have checked with all my parts houses and they didn't show anything but the one I bought from Summit. Too little of a hole for the connector. The one you have, the .180 is about right. It calls for a .187. The .160 are too small. I guess I will get creative today.

Chryslers temp sender, and fuel sender, and brake warning switch got special weather booted 90 degree terminals. Common without the boot will work and doesn't absolutely have to be 90 degree where the wire can turn without chaffing. A ring terminal w/ toothed washer and nut would work. That worked at the coil after all.
If you could find a noise suppression cap' from the back of a rally inst' panel, that's the same typical #10 post fit. That wire is short though and not copper. I think it's steel stands which wouldn't matter really.
E-body among others that didn't have a printed circuit board,, everything in those inst' panel used the typical 90 degree no weather boot terminal, with copper wire.

Do you have an old interior harness??? I believe that you can cut the one off the cigarette lighter feed and splice that into the wire for the temp sensor... Test fit it to the sensor first to make sure it's a tight fit...

Well my son and I had to go to the junk yard today to find a piece for my pickup and as we were leaving we had to pass by the Chrysler aisle. So I thought I heard my name called so I turned up the aisle and what did I see. A couple of mid 80's Lebarons. So I took a look and this is what I found. A couple of temp sending unit boots.Just what I was needing. I took both of them. They fit perfectly.
