Temperature sensor locate

Can anyone point out where the temp sensor locate in slant6 engine? Pic if possible will help a lot, mine does not work, I guess sensor need replace but have no idea where to look?

Screwed into the top-front of the cylinder head, just to the passenger side of where the top radiator hose connects to the engine. Has a single wire going to it.

On a similar subject. Can the original connector be had or replaced? I considered clipping it and just using a nut and ring terminal.

Yep, you can get the original type connector as NAPA Belden #784827:

When you buy the replacement sender, get a Standard unit or the NAPA Echlin unit, not the cheaper TruTech or MileagePlus item -- the quality difference is worth the couple extra bucks.

is it a longevity thing or are the ohm ratings off? just curious
