Finally got some cooler weather here in So-Cal,so I did a little tunning with the car.Seems like its been over 100degs for weeks,and the car didnt like those high temps. Put some good gas in and added some timing to the car.
This car is running really well now,really starting to get it dialed in. Comes out of the hole quick with the Sure-Grip,3.55's,and Snubber.

Looks like it is time to WAX some foads and chevys. :snakeman:

yea and teach them how to wax the paint to look as gorgeous as your darts....love it johnny! let us know what she runs!

No tracks close to me,so times probably wont happen anytime soon.
Just street light to street light ! lol
 
Looks killer, JD......it's too bad Palmdale closed, huh? Got any interior shots? It definitely is a head-turner!

Yep,no more Palmtucky !!!!! Bakersfield is the closest to my knowledge.

I mss LACR you could go up there on a wen night and put in a lot of runs. I here they are looking for a new sight to reopen at. I hope that hapens but it is not looking good.


All thats left for 1/4 mile tracks is Bakersfield or Fontana.

Or if you don't mind the 1/8 you can always go to Irwindale.

Ya,I'll be at the Fling. Dont know if I will bring a car,but wouldnt miss the swap meet for nothing. Always have a great time there. Havent missed the Spring or Fall in about 7 years..
 
Palmdale was about 40 miles, Irwindale is about 50 miles from your place...

BTW there are probably going to be a few more Mopars than average at the Vans Nuys Blvd cruise next wednesday because of the Fling.

Ya,I have been to the last 2 Van Nuys cruises. The cruise has been going bonkers,like the old days.
Even got a pic of 66valiantDave,in his 68 Dart cruising the strip..
