TF2 kit & Trans Pump

Getting ready to break in a new camshaft in my 68 dart 340. The trans has just had a TF2 kit installed with new converter. Can someone verify what gear I want to have the trans in during break-in??? I believe the pump doesn't pump in park, right?? Therefore, I want the trans in neutral? Or is it the other way around?

Trans in neutral since it covers both.

If you got the newer manual valve it doesn't matter which, but in neutral will be safe either way.

Obviously the trans HAS to have fluid in it.

Sounds like it hasn't been ran yet with the new converter, shift kit installed. So yes, in neutral, pre-fill and top off quickly then run your break-in on the cam.
