Got it running last night! First rebuild i've done, and it has been successful thus far! Only problems we had were that i somehow dissconected the wire that runs from the starter relay to the firewall to power the ammeter. And that wire was also laying across the side and touching my new rims when i connected the battery, so now i have some nice burn marks on them. The only other thing was that the rotor was 180 off. Its a great sound to hear your new engine with open headers idling! I dont think the neighbors were as excited about it at 10:30 as i was though.
engine is a 318 bored .060, keith black pistons with 9.7:1 compression ratio, comp XE268 cam, edelbrock performer RPM intake, holley 670 cfm street avenger carb, unknown headers.
