It must have been a hard decision to make. I always thought Toni Tennille was classy and talented. I read once one of their touring crew said The Captain could be a real jerk towards her, but who knows.
Maybe they will add a new verse to some of their songs, or change the names...."Love Don't Keep Us Together" or "Do That To Me One Last Time."

I can remember when "they first showed up" on TV, my Dad never thought "The Captain" did much of anything. What's 'e the cap'an OF, anyHOW?
