It only figures the industry would have it's own underground language.

Paper Boy : A customer that brings the dealerships latest printed add to the lot to by the car at the advertised price.

Be back
: A customer that leaves the lot without buying anything, but promise's that they will be back.

Be back Bus : A mythical vehicle that will someday deliver all the people that said they'd be back.

Third baseman : Someone who accompanies the potential car buyer because they are unable to negotiate the deal themselves.

Whiskers : A vehicle that's been sitting on the lot for a very long time.

Hand shaker : A car with a manual transmission.

Toad : A worthless trade-in vehicle (probably be sold for scrap)

Broom'em : Getting a non-buying customer off the lot so they won't waste any more of the salesman's time.

Mooch
: A customer who insist's on buying the car at the dealership's invoice price.

Mop and Glow
: Paint sealer ( an add-on sold to buyer's to increase the dealership's profit)

Unhorse
: Hiding a buyer's trade-in vehicle to keep them from leaving.

Bone thrower
: Sun Roof.

First Pencil : The first (and therefore the highest) price the dealership quotes to the buyer.

Flopper
: A customer who agrees to the first pencil price ( Like a fish that jumps into the boat and flops around before you even have a fishing pole in the water)

Gold balls
: A customer with excellent credit who pay's the hefty down payment in cash.

Grinder
: A customer who, no matter how good the deal they are offered, insist's on trying to get a better one.

Mickey Mouse
: When the dealer even has to finance the down payment to sell a car.

Ham Sandwich
: A car sale with minimal profit.

Whopper with cheese
:A car sale with huge profit.

Roasting the App.
: Changing the info on a buyer's loan application to make it more likely a third-party lender will approve the loan.

Shout out
: Announcing a pending sale over the dealership's PA system ( to keep the buyer from backing out at the last minute)

Service Lane Walk
: Trying to sell new cars to people bringing their car to the dealers service department for repairs.

Lay Down : A buyer who agree's to every extra proposed by the dealer, adding thousands to the car's price in the process (They've been "run over").

Choke and Croak : Disability and life insurance policies dealership's try to include in a sale.
