A set of 2005-2009 mustang GT bullitt 5 spoke wheels would bolt right on, and would good on this car. The offset would work perfectly with the 8.75 without narrowing it.
When money allows I will do something different. this one was free, and hopefully my fuel injection isn't backfiring ever!Car is turning out great!! If I can make a suggestion, ditch that edelbrock foam air cleaner. These do not filter very well, and one backfire through the air cleaner, and the foam will catch fire and fall in.
I would need a pretty high offset wheel and I've already had to trim the archA set of 2005-2009 mustang GT bullitt 5 spoke wheels would bolt right on, and would good on this car. The offset would work perfectly with the 8.75 without narrowing it.
What’s the 8.75 out of?I would need a pretty high offset wheel and I've already had to trim the arch
I was told a later 70's C body. it's 57" flange to flangeWhat’s the 8.75 out of?
Oh ok. Yeah that’d need narrowed. If you can find one from a 68-70 b-body, those fit very well in the Duster’s. Or like Matt said, use an explorer 8.8, those actually work very well in the Duster’s at full width, no need to narrow them. They’re 59.5” where a 68-70 b-body is 60.125”I was told a later 70's C body. it's 57" flange to flange
don't forget they come with 31 spline axles too.Use a ford explorer 8.8. It will fit way better, and you can cut the wide end down in your garage, and just use a short side axle inside it. Has same bolt pattern as your duster right to 1/2" lug studs. Theres a sticky on fabo for these. I have one that has a locker and 3.73 gears. A $200 junkyard pick and has rear discs. Plus parts to rebuild it are dirt cheap.

And big bolt pattern, and disc brakes. If you get one with an L in the data tag, that is a clutch type limited slip.don't forget they come with 31 spline axles too.![]()
59.5 total width at wheel mount surfaces?Oh ok. Yeah that’d need narrowed. If you can find one from a 68-70 b-body, those fit very well in the Duster’s. yes that's right. plus with a second short shaft you take 2 7/8" off of that width giving you almost exactly 'A' body 8 3/4 rear end overall width.59.5 total width at wheel mount surfaces?
Correct.59.5 total width at wheel mount surfaces?
