A set of 2005-2009 mustang GT bullitt 5 spoke wheels would bolt right on, and would good on this car. The offset would work perfectly with the 8.75 without narrowing it.
 
As for Mustang wheels, I think the 01-04 bullitt wheels are better than the 05-up. The earlier wheels spokes have a better shape. The 2 generations do have slightly different back space, I think it’s only like 1/4” different though.

When money allows I will do something different. this one was free, and hopefully my fuel injection isn't backfiring ever!

I would need a pretty high offset wheel and I've already had to trim the arch
 
Use a ford explorer 8.8. It will fit way better, and you can cut the wide end down in your garage, and just use a short side axle inside it. Has same bolt pattern as your duster right to 1/2" lug studs. Theres a sticky on fabo for these. I have one that has a locker and 3.73 gears. A $200 junkyard pick and has rear discs. Plus parts to rebuild it are dirt cheap.

Oh ok. Yeah that’d need narrowed. If you can find one from a 68-70 b-body, those fit very well in the Duster’s. Or like Matt said, use an explorer 8.8, those actually work very well in the Duster’s at full width, no need to narrow them. They’re 59.5” where a 68-70 b-body is 60.125”

don't forget they come with 31 spline axles too. :thumbsup:
 

I have maybe $400 in mine including the $200 purchase price. This includes bearings, seals, clutch kit, and everything to redo the disc brakes. Plus a Spicer 357C universal joint fits the ford yoke, and chrysler driveshaft.
 
We did a freebie air cleaner on my friends 86 F150 we are in process of converting to carburetor. If you still have the magnum air cleaner tin, you can do this. I cut the air cleaner base to keep just the center where the filter sits, then took a piece of .080" aluminum sheet to make the top. Then painted it black wrinkle. You could even use the magnum air cleaner lid and cut it down too.

Heres pix of the homemade filter with a $3.00 stock dodge pickup filter element, with a magnum air filter base I had lying around, and a homemade aluminum lid out of a piece of sheet stock I had lying around, now on the F150. Only dollars it cost was the filter. I had a half a can of VHT hi temp black wrinkle on the shelf. Dont mind the plug wires. Going to get a kit for the plug wire ends to cut them down to fit better. Sometimes you have to think outside the box.

Ford 8.8 you can rebuild the Traction Lok clutches with carrier left in the rear. That alleviates the need to have to reset the backlash. You can shim the clutches real tight to get more lock up too.

59.5 total width at wheel mount surfaces?
