Ok, posting this in the body shop forum due it's possible technical nature.
Recently purchased a '74 4dr dart. Runs but needs k frame and control arm. /6 auto, nothing rare.
I can fix it, flip it, and double my money pretty easy.
But I have a rust ridden four door valiant with sentimental value, and I can cover my expense on the car in selling what I don't want, because I just want body panels.
1: '74 dart to '75 valiant, are most of the under body and back half panels the same? I realize the front clip is not.
2: should I save/flip, or cut n' part?
3: if I go Organ Donor mode, what's the best way to cut and remove the factory panels? I want them to install like stock if possible but I'm no body guy
My valiant is quite rusty. Rockers, floors, wheel houses, possibly even frame rails. Sentiment is a **** sometimes.
