prayer

I overheard a sweet elderly lady saying this prayer. Her words were so
innocent and sincere that I am compelled to share them with you:

Dear Lord,
This has been a tough period in my life. You have taken my favorite
actor Patrick Swayze. My favorite musician Lou Reed. My favorite blues
singer Amy Winehouse. My favorite actress Elizabeth Taylor. My favorite
female singer Eydie Gorme. My favorite comedian Jonathan Winters. And now my
favorite author Tom Clancy!
I just want you to know that my favorite politicians are Barack Obama,
Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, Barbara Boxer, Diane Feinstein, Debbie
Wasserman-Schultz and Harry Reid.
Amen.
 
As a joke goes that was pretty good, but let me tell you a bit of reality.

I am a self employed computer tech and I have a ton of older customers who want Fox as thier home page.
When that home page gets changed by an infection or a search hijack they freak out because they can't see Fox when they open thier browser, and don't have the buttons to click so they can read about what Obama has done to them this week.
An appt I have today, the woman calls and say's "My Fox page is gone so now I can't even get to my bank account to check my account to see how much damage this appointment is going to do to me".

And these are the very people who think thier party should be in charge of the country.

Too funny ! did the same for years.. ever been told that their computer messed up and they had their (cousin, uncle, friend, dog computer expert) come to fix it and now it is totally snafued ?

I maintained a lot of novell networks... everything I herd this I could hear the old cash register clicking in my head..

I thik the IT profession is the only one you can become an "expert" if you read 2 computer magazines..

Everybody has a pro in the family that does'nt have time to do it, but they are sure it's just an easy fix anyway.

Hell most of them are just stupid **** that could be looked up on Google anyway.
 

Hmmm......maybe I should pray more.......and add thread hijackers to the list....:D
