our last trip together.........
crusing down I44 in my cool 69 runner. it was 1983 as I recall..... pulled over by Missouri's fi nest highway patrol.....
" what's the matter officer?'"
" you were speeding, sir>" that's a $50 fine.
" surely your radar gun is wrong officer!" I said.
the true blonde ( yes she was) wife adds, dear, you probably were speeding, I don't think you even had your radar detector turned on did you?
officer: ' that's another $50 .
I reach for my wallet.
officer says, I have no seat belt! ANOTHER $50....
" oh, I just took it off to get my wallet" I say.
sugarfoot relies, " now dear, you know you NEVER wear a seat belt!"
I begin to tell the wife maybe she could learn the keep her dainged mouth shut once in a while. maybe just sit there and keep quite if she can't say anything intelligent!???????
officer asks, " sir, do you ALWAYS talk to your wife like that!????"
wife relies: " ONLY WHEN HE'S BEEN DRINKING!"
I GOT THE ROADRUNNER AND A SPARE TRANNY IN THE DIVORCE!!!
