Theoretically speaking

If i was looking for a donor Dana 60 to narrow and go under my Dart what would be an ideal donor? (aside from a B body D60) How would i attach a pinion snubber to this and where would i get the raw axle ends for this? Just looking at all options since i know many trucks have D60's and 3:54's. Just polling the masses for info

1977 Ramcharger 4x4 had Dana 60 with same 4 1/2" bolt pattern , just shorten it . When I scrapped my Ramcharger I sold the Dana to a guy with a big block Dart . 8 3/4 not strong enough ?
Always liked the 8 3/4 because it is a simple operation to change gear sets .
EDIT I had switched diffs , put in a 3/4 ton dana 60 dif early in trucks life , original was 9 1/4 or 9 3/4 Chrysler unit
