Im interested in what primary and secondary jets the Small Block TQ guys are running on here. If you can post cams and head combo as well, that would be great.

I've got a 625 Carter AFB on my 318. I know it's not quite the same, but at the moment I have .100's in the primaries, .101's in the secondary jets, and .0700/.0600 metering rods. Still running a little rich on what I'm pretty sure is a stock 318 with a streetmaster 318 intake, I think .098 primaries and .100 secondary jets will be about right, should know in a couple days when I do the next jet change.

Not sure if that'll help you at all though...

Thanks for the reply - unfo AFB jetting is considerably different in the secondary side - due to the spread bore design of the TQ.

I think I have it set up there-abouts, but its flat spotting at around 5000 rpm in 2nd gear, so its either jetting or supply.

I was hoping to get some jetting set ups off others to see if Im not too far "off base"

You could try PMing DemonSizzler?Seems to be the go to guy with Thermoquads.Maybe he could help with ideas, advise?Hope this helps you out?

Thanks PBD - I spoke with Dave yesterday - He agrees it sounds like a fuel supply issue - Im using the factory "skinny" needles and seats - He's mailing over some high volume ones.

FWIW, he says its fairly typical for a cammed up small block to starve around 5000 rpm using the small .090th Ndls/seats - a tip worth noting.
