I need some help with my thermoquad. There appears to be a screw(?) on the drivers side of the carb that holds the fast idle linkage on the carb.
My problem is the linkage is so stiff that to engage or disengage the fast idle, you must manually move the fast idle adjustment screw. I've got another carb (parts unit), and the linkage on it moves very easily. I don't want to screw up either carb so I would like to know if this is indeed a screw that can be moved.
My question: Can this screw be moved? On my parts carb I've tried to move it (counter clockwise) and it won't budge. If this screw can't be moved, does anybody have any ideas on how I can loosen this linkage on the carb that is on my engine.
