Thermoquad = not on 318!!?!?!?!

I also remember the police cars with 4bbl on the 318 with 360 heads! I found an ol' guy with a pile of parts and I am hoping to do a conversion of my own with factory parts. Someone tell me what 4bbl intake and heads would be best for a 1986 318? The 360 parts?

I think I've figured it out. That dude tried to use a Thermoquad that from some ambiguous buddy's 454 Hemi. As you may recall, the baseplate on that model was huge (2" primaries and 3.625" secondaries) and would certainly leak like a sieve on any normal intake. :wink:

I tell you one thing though guys. If I can't get this rebuilt T-Quad running smoothly, I'm switching over to an Edelbrock.

No.360 heads drop compression too much.I'd look for 302 casting heads.
