Thermostat???

Ordered a Mr. Gasket thermostat for a small block mopar and was sent one that said for big block cars on the packaging. Are these the same? Or did I receive the wrong one? Thanks!

.............the bb 1 fits small blocks up to 1978..t stat bolts are straight across.............79 up sb has a smaller t stat......bolts r on an angle.......kim.......

I don't know why they can't list them as sb and bb to 78 then have the small one listed as 79 up SB so it's not confusing??
