These dang mopar door handles

Hey all, I'm sure I'm not the only one in this fight but anyone else have their exterior door handle buttons get stuck when pushing them in.....almost like they have to push too far to open the door. I had this issue on all 3 B-bodies I've owned but it was just a loose screw holding the handle to the mechanism. This time around on my 71 dart, the screw is as tight as can be but the button still sticks sometimes. Maybe a longer pushrod might help with the excessive travel? Greasing and cleaning seems to help to an extent but still doesn't seem right.

There's a small hole on the rear of the door. You can use an allen wrench to adjust the latch. It fixed my button which was sticking like yours.....
