When running the Mr Gasket thin head gaskets is it common for the intake manifold bolt holes not to line up perfect.? If so what are people using for intake manifold gaskets?

never had an issue using thin gaskets.

Me neither, your talking maybe .025" difference between a "thin" head gasket and the common rebuilder types. Maybe if the heads have been excessively milled and you use a thin head gasket.

Ok. Thanks for the feedback. After a few more test fits at the crack of dawn this morning I got it to work. Didn't realize that a piece of valve cover gasket RTV was rolling in the way when I would install the intake. The motor was a running engine when I got it and whom ever rebuilt it at some point loved RTV.

Good to hear you figured it out.
