I'm not sure if this is the right forum, thinking about a dual blaster, sand and soda been looking at eastwoods looks good,a little high, get what you pay for.Any ideas or recomendations? Thanks in advance.

I believe my dad just bought a sand blaster at the local hardware store, like menards, same with the one we have at work, same thing, seems to work great, but If you try and use the heavy duty black sand blasting sand it will sometimes plug the smaller tips up, kind of a pain but thats the only complaint.

here it is: [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Grizzly-G0474-Gal-Portable-Sandblaster/dp/B000E3068E/ref=sr_1_20?ie=UTF8&s=power-hand-tools&qid=1283093488&sr=1-20"]Amazon.com: Grizzly G0474 20 Gal Portable Sandblaster: Power & Hand Tools@@AMEPARAM@@http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41gGyK1z-8L.@@AMEPARAM@@41gGyK1z-8L[/ame]

I believe it was cheaper at the store though, plus no shipping! Do you want a cabinet style? What are you blasting?

I'll use it on body panels using soda suspension, brakes etc using sand We have 74 Dart,70 Dart and 67 Coronet 500 we will be using it on so looking for a good reasonable priced unit that will hold up Thanks

Went to TPTools looks llike cabinet blasters but good site, saved to favorites Thanks

Just make sure you have plenty of compressor! Nothing more aggravating than sandblasting for two minutes, then waiting 5 more minutes for the compressor to catch up!!Ben.

X2 what bmaudlin says, I have a table top style cabinet from Princess Auto up here in canada, and my 5hp 60 gallon compressor, seems to run quite a bit.

Been thinking about that, probably will have to upgrade comp, more expense but the time saved will be worth it I think. The amount of work we have to do and the amount of free time to do it in don't quite balance out.At my age 54 I'm trying to work a little faster, smarter, and easier. My goal is 1 car a year starting with the Darts, the Coronet a little more involved. Thanks
